Can I visit my child’s classroom?

We welcome and encourage parent participation in our classrooms. We have an open door policy and you should feel welcome to visit your child anytime. Visitors must stop by the office before visiting your child’s classroom so we know who is in the school at all times.

Can my child bring a cell phone to school?

We do not allow cell phones, beepers, or pagers on campus. This includes other electronic items such as radios, tape players, CD players, ipods, MP3 players, and electronic games and toys. Please leave these items at home.

My child needs to take daily medication. What do I do?

When a child needs to take daily medication, our office staff will work with the family physician and the parents to administer the medication. The medication must:

  • be in the original container
  • have the pharmacy label on prescribed medication
  • have a signed parent permission slip to administer the medication
  • be stored in the  main office

We do not allow students to have any type of medication in their possession.

What are the teacher-student ratios for the Preschool?

We typically maintain the following ratios for the preschool. These ratios are below those that are allowed under licensing guidelines but we have set these limits to ensure that the children get extra attention and care.

Playschool Program (2 year old program): 1:8

Nursery School (3 year old program): 1:10

Pre-Kindergarten (4 year old program): 1:10

What do I do if my child is absent?
