Family Involvement

At Kids Connection, we believe that a strong partnership between parents and teachers is essential to provide a successful transition from home to school.  This is why it is one of our 4 core pillars. Kids Connection Preschool has an open-door policy, and therefore you are welcome to come to visit and check on your child at any time during the day. Drop-off and Pick-up generally occurs in the classroom, so you will have an opportunity to observe your child in his/her learning environment, and to talk to your child’s teachers. In our younger programs, we send home daily reports that give you additional details.

Our commitment to our families expands past the daily routines. Throughout the year, we have several family events (such as the Fall Festival, Story Night, Family Art Day, etc.) that are designed to provide families a positive and exciting opportunity to spend time with your child and help build our school community. We also have Date Nights through-out the year that give parents an opportunity to have a fun night out, leaving the babysitting to us!

We have various opportunities to help at the school. Whether it is helping with hot lunch or volunteering for a specific event, any help we can get is greatly appreciated. However, we do understand that each family’s availability is different, and therefore volunteering at school is not a requirement. Our goal is to ease the burden on working families as much as we can, and to work together to create a partnership from which to build the ideal beginning of each child’s education.
