Kids Connection is located at 1998 Beach Park Blvd in Foster City. The “blue school” building is our elementary school, with the preschool located in the building next door. We are easy to access off Highway 92 and Foster City Blvd.

The blend of educating the heart and mind of each of our students makes KC unique. Our program, rooted in the 4 Pillars, builds a life-long love of learning in each of the children who attend our school, and inspires each student to strive to be their greatest selves. This shows in the accelerated academic achievement as well as the strong sense of self that shines from each of our students. Year after year our alumni return and tell us about how their deep commitment to success was born during their time at Kids Connection.

Generally, a prospective student must be five years old by December 2^nd in order to attend Kindergarten.  However, we will assess any child to determine if he/she is ready for the challenge of our program.

Kindergarten: Average of 16 students per class
Grades 1-5: Average of 20 students per class

Kindergarten: 8:20am-1:30pm
Grades 1-5: 8:20am-2:45pm
Before School begins at 7:00am
After School continues until 6:00pm

We provide a robust after school program for our students.  The program includes outside play time, homework time, and fun and engaging activities for our students.  Click here to see more information about these programs.

Kids Connection offers day camps during most school holidays and throughout the summer. These include fun and enriching activities for our students. Summer school is also available during the summer months for those students who want to catch up or get ahead. We also offer summer camp for students in kindergarten through 5th grades.

Students in the elementary school wear uniforms including navy blue shorts or pants, plaid jumpers or skirts, and white blouses or polo shirts. A formal uniform is worn on selected occasions, and sweat pants are available for PE days.   See our Dress Code section for more details and uniform samples.

Volunteering is highly encouraged at Kids Connection, but is not required.  Parents can volunteer in the classrooms or as part of our Parent Teacher Connection (PTC) for school wide initiatives and events.  Opportunities are available for any level of commitment that a parent chooses.

Yes, arrangements can be made for tutoring if a student needs some extra help. This can be accomplished after school.

Kids Connection graduates are accepted at a wide range of private and public middle schools.

A student may bring lunch from home or purchase a hot lunch through ChoiceLunch’s online ordering system.  See Lunch/Snacks for more details.

Yes, Kids Connection Elementary School is nut-free. We take great care to ensure all of our students are able to come to a safe school.
